CAD drawings of Parsec12 GEM on a 30" tall, 8" OD central pier. Leg footprint diameter is ~36". OTA is simply shown as square to represent proper length and width. It will NOT be a square OTA. The OTA is a 12.5" Newtonian-Astrograph using a cellular primary, that the customer has ordered as well.

Each leg can move independantly, where it connects to the 8" OD pier tube, for large adjustments needed to level the pier on uneven terrain. At the bottom of each leg will then be swivel feet that will have ~1" of vertical travel and the ability to fine tune the level of the pier after initial rough in using the leg to pier tube adjustments.

Pier is shown near its maximum height. Go to the next page to see the pier at its lowest height.

The Parsec has three counterweights: 11 lbs, 21 lbs and 21 lbs. They are all drawn in but the OTA will weigh less than 25 lbs total.
