Dream received samples 4/19/06
of both a cellular elliptical flat and a cellular large diameter
blank. Both were shown at Dream's booth at NEAF, May 6th & 7th, 2006. |
|
Shown left is a raw 9.69" minor axis, 14"
major axis, elliptical secondary blank. The one shown to the
left is 1.925" thick and would normally weigh 16.0 lbs if
it were solid glass. |

axis (11.15" major axis) secondary for the 24" f3.5
Dream Astrograph. |
|
The 24" Dream Astrograph's secondary will weigh
~1 pound less than the 5.5" minor axis, monolithic secondary
used on the 16" Dream Astrograph. |
