The spot diagrams to the right show the 3" coma corrector's performance on a 16" f3.5 Newtonian .

Even at the corners of the STL-11000's CCD chip, 80% of the energy falls within a 3.3 mircon radius. An amazingly small area at this field location. A Ritchey-Chretien at the same location on this chip has 80% of the energy within a 24.6 micron radius.

The spot diagrams to the right show the performance of a 16" f8.4 RC Cassegrain.

Note that at "field" position "4" the graphic of the "spot" is larger than the entire chart!

The corrected Newtonian numerous benefits.
