Above is one of two weather station consoles that displays local area weather. This will include multiple temperature and humidity sensors around the enclosure and one on the telescope itself, near or directly behind the primary mirror. One console could reside out at the telescope and the other back in the control room, if needed. There is also a software tie in to the control computers. This allows for data archiving of all recorded weather information: wind speed, rainfall amounts, humidity, temperature, UV, etc..
