This 1m custom part will act as a lever arm for an industrial application at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.

The Physics Department tried to use lightweighted, ribbed, metal for the part but the mass was still too high.

This 39" long x 1.925" wide part weighs 261.1 grams.

The ends were left long and are solid laminate carbon fiber with additional layers and orientations to allow for simple drilling of a bolt hole pattern.
